Nightlife - Brisbane nightlife scene has
come of age. Although, in terms of population, it
cannot be compare to Sydney, its nightlife has escalated
to level that make you sit up and take a look. In
the music entertainment area it has produced its own
local international star, Savage Garden.
Its warm sub tropical weather has given an addition
reason to spend an evening out at Brisbane
Nightlife scene. From jazz clubs to 3-floor
dance clubs to casino by the river, it got everything.
Something to take note so as not to spoilt the evening,
is its strict dress code for clubs. This enforce in
most parts of Australia. The basic
rule for guys is - a collared shirt and no jeans.
For the gals is - no open-toed shoes. This is the
minimum though it may vary at different clubs. The
minimum age for drinking in Australia is 18 years
old.

Do not mistake Wonderbar for wonder bra but a wonderful bar which play music ranging from techno to British pop. Located at Empire hotel.
4) PJ O'Brien's

Surprisingly quite a clean bar, unlike most Irish bars in Australia.
5) Irish Murphy's
Cnr George and Elizabeth Street
Another Irish bar which is just a bit quieter than PJ's. Can be a bit quiet mid-week, but gets livelier at the weekends.
