Brisbane Map - The windy Brisbane
River basically cuts through the city from west to
east. On the north of the river, it's the Central
Business District. That is where the City Hall, Queen
Street Mall and Conrad Treasury Casino are. This is
follow by the Riverside precinct, where the City Botanical
Garden and Eagle Street Pier laze around. And farther
north is the Fortitude Valley, where Chinatown resides.
South of the river is of course South Brisbane
lies. This is the Culture precinct and where South
Bank Parklands entertains the nightlife scene and
weekend crowd. West of South Brisbane is Woolloongabba
and Kangaroo Point. Woolloongabba is the gateway to
Gold Coast. Kangaroo Point not only link you to Fortitude
Valley through Story Bridge, it also give a good photograph
view of the city.
